Gaithersburg, MD – The College Democrats of America (CDA) is today formally announcing that it is endorsing Joe Vogel for Congress in Maryland’s 6th Congressional District.
"The College Democrats of America are ecstatic to endorse Del. Joe Vogel in his race to represent MD-06 in Congress,” said the College Democrats of America Executive Board. “With extremist Republicans attempting to roll back our rights, now it's more important than ever to send another proven problem solver to fight for us in Washington. As the first Gen-Z Maryland legislator, Joe has a track record of showing up and delivering for young Marylanders and we know he’ll do the same as a member of Congress. We’re honored to give him our endorsement as well as our support."
“I am honored and grateful to have the support of College Democrats of America,” said Delegate Joe Vogel. “College students and young Americans across the nation know what’s at stake in this election, and I’m proud that College Democrats are stepping up to join our growing movement. In the state legislature, I’ve been a champion for young Marylanders and I’ll continue fighting for our environment, our freedoms, and our democracy in Congress.”
About Joe Vogel
Joe was born in Uruguay and moved to Maryland as a toddler. His life story is a reflection of how anything is possible in this country. A community leader turned State Delegate, Joe is now running to represent Central and Western Maryland in Congress because it’s time to send a fresh perspective and a proven problem solver to Washington. As far-right extremists work to undermine our democracy and rip away fundamental freedoms, it’s never been more clear: Now is the time to elect leaders who can deliver.
